Original Characters
Stargate Nova Roma features new characters as well. This page is meant as a sample of the new additions to Destiny's tale.
Lieutenant-Colonel Marc Vale
Marc Vale was born as Marcus Valerius in 42BC. Following in his father's footsteps, he enrolled into the Legions of Rome and climbed the ranks to become a Centurion. Then - in 12 BC - he had an accidental encounter with an Ancient Stasis Pod.
After being thawed in 2010 AD, he became a Lieutenant-Colonel in the National Guard of New York. It was from here that he was recruited by President Robert Mackenzie of the United States of America to lead the Nova Roma Expedition, a mission to rescue Destiny's crew.
Doctor Nikita Aranov
A young archeologist. Aranov has often been described as 'the Russian Daniel Jackson'. He was recruited into the Stargate Program to become the Chief Scientist of the Beta Site. It was Aranov who found Centurion Valerius in stasis. When the Nova Roma Expedition was launched, he was promoted to become the ranking civilian scientist of the mission. This means that he is the second-in-command of the Science Division, under Major Jennifer Hailey.
Sergeant T'Zalo
During their trip towards Destiny, the Expedition made both friends and enemies. Among their allies was a group of Ursini whom had avoided destruction at the hands of the command ships and their berserker drones. After the Expedition came to their aid, several Ursini volunteered to join the mission.
One of the volunteers was an Ursini called T'Zalo. Granted the rank of Sergeant by Colonel Vale, he is one of the best pilot's the Expedition has.

The Television Version
Ages ago, I send a StarGate Nova Roma proposal out into the world. (Copies went to Actors - both Stargate and Non Stargate - MGM and Agents) It went nowhere. So, who would have starred in this version of SGNR ? Well, see for yourself.... (This is not a complete list, just the three I had locked down in my head when I wrote the proposal.)
